There comes a moment in every life when one stops seeking grand answers and starts seeing things as they are. For me, that moment has arrived.
The purpose of life, I now realize, is simply to live. We are born at a certain place and time, and from that moment, time begins to flow — unstoppable, indifferent, and beyond our control. Between birth and death, we are merely passing time, indulging in various activities to keep ourselves occupied until the inevitable end.
To make this passing of time appear meaningful, some have created the idea of purpose — and most of humanity has been carried away by it. But the truth, when seen without illusion, is humbling. In the vast scale of the universe, human life — and everything humans do — is utterly inconsequential.
This realization has not filled me with despair, but with clarity. If existence itself has no cosmic purpose, then the only sensible thing to do is to live well — to fill this span between birth and death with peace, happiness, and quality of life for as long as possible.
I have also come to see that the world around us — the world we inhabit here on Earth — is changing at a phenomenal pace. The next 20, 30, or 40 years will be unlike anything humanity has known. To survive and thrive through such transformation, I must prepare myself — mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially.
This blog marks the beginning of that preparation. It is my way of killing time consciously, not wastefully. It is an attempt to journal my reflections, experiences, and learnings — not as a teacher or preacher, but as an ordinary human being observing life unfold. And in doing so, I hope that others who feel the same quiet restlessness, the same desire for understanding, may find resonance here. Because in the world that is coming, living in isolation will no longer be an option. Survival — and perhaps even sanity — will depend on being part of communities of like-minded individuals who share values of awareness, balance, and mutual respect.
So, this is where my new life begins. This is my transformation commencement — the establishment of my identity — and the moment of my enlightenment. From this point onward, I live consciously. I kill time with awareness. And I share my journey — not to impress, but to connect.
